Yoga Schmoga!
Aaah, what a great start to a Saturday, sleeping in a little late, waking up before the kids, having a healthy breakfast, doing my 1 1/2 hr yoga workout in the peace and quiet and then the kids sneaking up to give good morning hugs timed perfectly! I have to admit, so far, yoga is the hardest workout for me to enjoy believe it or not. The main thing that frustrates me is I still dont have the upper body strength to do the plank and push ups between every move. Most of the other moves I can either do perfectly, or I'm atleast halfway to fully flexible, but one of my new goals is to achieve being able to stay in plank and do the pushups. Yoga gets your body to do some serious stretching, and you feel absolutely great the rest of the day. Breakfast today was two pieces of whole grain toast and turkey sausage. My usual half cup of coffee for the day, and water the rest of the time. Oh, and I just realized that today was my official last workout as a 30 year old! Tomorrow I will do my first workout as a 31 year old. However, thanks to p90x my body is getting younger and in better shape instead of deteriorating! So, bring on the 31, cause I'm gonna BRING IT!
