Phase 2 in process...
Today was cardio and got a great workout! I am up to 15 pushups and doing multiple ab weight reps outside of the workout dvd. I'm hoping my other workout videos come in today or soon! I'm ready to mix things up a little. Everything I've read says a lot of people hit a plateau during the 30-60 day phase, and the key is to uping your workouts, bringing it, and changing up your diet, so that you're not doing the same thing that you were doing from day 1-30. That is going to be what I concentrate on, because I do NOT want to hit a plateau. I took out my whole wheat toast from my breakfast, so I'm uping the calories slightly like instructed, but lowering the carbs. We'll see if it makes a difference. If it doesn't, then we'll try something different! I recommend p90x to so many people, but unless your mindset is right, and you are dedicated, then I'm afraid you will never get the results you desire. I see other people losing lbs by dieting or gastric surgery, but I feel so much better about the way I'm doing it, I'm not shortcutting it, I'm working out AND watching everything that goes in to my body. I feel I will have much more long term success and it will change my life permanantly instead of temporarily. See you tomorrow! Phase 2!
