Yoga-helps me calm down and focus
Geez, I must've gotten up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, just nothing was going right, which helped me decide to do yoga this morning. The focus breathing and just slowing down, concentrating on what I was doing, helped a lot. I also did my weights. Last night I guess was my emotional night for the week, so between tears and being a little sore, I gave myself a rest night. I love my workouts though, I feel so much better afterwards, didnt want to do anything to sweaty this morning since I had to shower first thanks to the landscaper waking me up and trust me, I needed to shower and get ready before seeing ANYONE today. I looked a wreck! So, also another reason I went with yoga. I plan to do something more moving and higher impact tonight. Hopefully soon, I'll be past all this emotional transition stuff and can just kick it into high gear. I still can't for the life of me get good at the sun salutations between every move, the plank just kills me, and I'm trying to be patient and do the moves with the video but Tony talks so much between moves, that I'm now impatient, I go ahead and start on the next move. Love the weights, I'm using my ottoman/coffee table as a bench, I so need a real weight bench, but where the heck would I put it?! May work on the arms later this afternoon, cant tell if its gonna be another rainy day in the house or not. Anyway, see you tomorrow, less tears, and bringin it to the max!
